Overview
The Netfilter project is a free software project that is well-known for providing the popular firewalling tool for Linux™ so-called iptables. However, this project offers much more such as a set of subsystems available in the Linux kernel, and userspace tools and libraries to enable stateful packet filtering, packet mangling and logging solutions.
The Netfilter Workshop (NFWS) series were established in 2001. Since then, the NFWS has provided a space for discussing on-going research and development in firewalling for Linux™.
Following the lastest successful Netfilter Workshop in Sevilla, Andalusia, Spain in september 2005. We are happy to announce the next event in this series will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, from September 11th to 14th, 2007.
